Formation and Representation of Community Knowledge Mission:Our division aims to elucidate basic principles, methodologies and applications that enable the representation, visualization and manipulation of knowledge that has been accumulated in various forms, such as the individual knowledge, community knowledge, and knowledge in Nature. Specifically, basic oriented projects treat the algorithms to process, structures and properties of knowledge and contents, and application oriented projects treat development of techniques and methodologies for contents representation and contents creation environments.
