Formation and Representation of Community Knowledge
< Overview >
Our division aims to elucidate basic principles, methodologies and applications that enable the representation, visualization and manipulation of knowledge that has been accumulated in various forms, such as personal knowledge, community knowledge, and knowledge in Nature. Basic research projects treat elucidation of structures and properties of knowledge, and algorithms to organize, search and process knowledge. Applied research projects application oriented projects treat development of techniques and methodologies to organize, search, process and visualize knowledge.
